I was the first Swedish person chosen to participate in Gaucho Derby, which is considered to be the worlds toughest horse race. It is as much about good horsemanship as survival skill.

Gaucho Derby is a 500 km long adventure horse race in which the competitors have ten days to navigate through the Patagonian wilderness between checkpoints. The weight limit for gear is set to 10 kg which should include tent, sleeping bag, food and everything else the participants need to survive. Participants will ride seven different horses, all new to them, through unknown wild terrain.

The race kicks off March 3rd 2022. You will be able to follow me as a dot on a map, through a live GPS tracking system.

Läkare utan gränser/MSF is doing an extensive work to bring medical humanitarian assistance to victims of conflict, natural disasters, epidemics or healthcare exclusion. Children under 15 years of age make up more than 60 per cent of patients in their projects, and many arrive in a critical condition or in the late stages of an illness. They are sick because they have not been adequately protected from disease or received appropriate treatment when they needed it. Without adequate care, a child’s earliest years can be the most deadly in many low-resource countries. By starting a fundraiser for MSF I hope to help a lot of children in need.
