Marjatta had a big heart for people in need and in misfortune. She met migrants and refugees from all over the world in her work and she experienced necessitous people in their every day life during her travels. Helping people in their way to build a new life was her profession, but her care was extended to compassion and giving. She had a belief in fairer world and in humanitarian cause.

While it can be difficult to find the words to share comfort and gratitude for a life well-lived, the family will appreciate you taking the time to make a memorial donation. In honour of loved Marjatta, we want to contribute to work of Medecins sans frontiers, a cause that she deeply would have appreciated.
