I am one of many fortunate to have studied, and graduated, from the Karolinska Institute in 2024. I am now looking forward to a future in a well functioning healthcare system, where I can practice the profession I studied for, in the way I was taught - based on evidence and best practice. This is far from the reality of many of my international colleagues in areas of crisis. Their dedication and commitment despite the challenges they face are both inspiring and heartbreaking.
